Job Summary


This is a University Relations, Early Talents and Employer Branding specialist role, reporting to the Global Manager University Relations, Early Talents and Employer Branding and will be based in Bangalore. You will play a vital role in the Talent Acquisition & Talent Advancement function, partnering with the business and HR leaders to provide technical expertise and solutions to current and future challenges, including Employer Branding. You will be also be responsible for supporting the development of expert services within the Country/Hub, while attracting and retaining a skilled workforce in line with Global and business strategies.

This is a Fixed Term Contract role with term end in April/May 2022.

Your responsibilities

  • Deploying the Employee Value Proposition and key topics for Early Talents in line with the group directives and customized to the local Indian market.
  • Cooperating with the local communications department and business stakeholders to all existing activities, communication materials/channels. Following the dedicated plan for the country in this respect. Track effectiveness of measures.
  • Supporting in building solid networks with Universities, Students associations and subject specific networks (i.e. engineering associations, female students networks, etc.).
  • Managing, promoting and further developing the existing ABB Discovery Trainee Program of ABB in India, end to end.
  • Supporting the local India Talent Ambassadors network -according to the global guidelines.
  • Responding to the business early talents recruitment needs developing adequate campus recruitment approaches.
  • Ensuring that materials and digital platforms (incl. career site) are on brand and regular social media campaigns and posts are performed.
  • Living ABB s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

  • Bachelor s or master s degree with professional experience in a high performing global organization.
  • Extensive knowledge of the India campus recruitment environment.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience with branding and communications, ideally developing marketing and social media plans.
  • Active work experience with the major Social Media channels is considered a plus.
  • Strong end-to-end process thinking and experience of managing projects.
  • Ability to network with and influence senior Business and HR leaders.
  • Very good communication skills, strong customer service orientation and should have a good Team spirit.
  • Professional English language skills, both written and oral.
  • Self-driven, resilient, energetic, enthusiastic and inclusive; creating or responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs.
