This is a Senior R&D Engineer - Python role, reporting to the Technical Manager in business area Process Automation located in Bangalore. Your responsibilities

• Leading the requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of new software and enhancements of existing applications.
• Designing and developing of ETL and ELT modules using Python.
• Developing the data transformation and processing modules.
• Mentoring the team driving correct adoption of modern software engineering & delivery practices ( Real Agile, TDD, Stateless Design, Microservices, Containerization, CI/CD, Cloud, etc.).
• Evaluating technical trends and provide recommendations for technology and architecture to meet business objectives.
• Implementing high quality software solutions in line with business requirements.
• Working in a global software development team, sharing experience and skills with another team member.

Your background

• B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical or Electronics from a reputed institution.
• Required 6 to 8 years of experience in designing and developing of data integration modules (ETL/ELT) and should bring solid experience to our team implementing successful development projects.
• Should in-depth technical understanding of ETL/ETL integration and its framework.
• Should have good understanding on data warehouse concepts is required.
• Should have strong experience with core Python and data processing modules.
• Hands on experience with Python to deal with large data set processing and data transformation.
• Should have proficient in SQL databases SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle and MongoDB.
• Should have good experience with Docker and Kubernetes deployments.
• Should have good knowledge of Microsoft Azure, and familiarity with other cloud platforms and concepts.
