As a Pricing Data Analyst / Specialist, you will be reporting to the Director of Pricing Analytics in the Global Business Services located in Bangalore, India.

Your responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and building visual analytical models to identify trends, drilling down using various measures and weave a story using data. Developing and running required system reports, analyzing and compiling data, and reporting progress and performance of systems and tracked business activities.
• Creating interactive dashboards and reports through Tableau/Power BI. Being number & data savvy to crunch through large sets of complex data and derive meaningful insights and supporting the division in achieving the pricing goals and business metrics and indicators for success.
• Providing ad hoc analysis to support the business with actionable insights for tactical & operational price actions.
• On time reporting of Monthly, Quarterly & Annual reports & analysis. Doing the regular monitoring, analysis & reporting on performance & insights to stakeholders.
• Being familiar with Sales business processes, taking ownership of decision support tools including the design, implementation, and end-user training.
• Analyzing data to identify trends and key drivers, including post-mortems. Involving in discovery and design of new reports; ad hoc reporting as needed.
• Working closely with Senior management to define new analysis/reporting initiatives.

Your background

• Bachelor s in engineering with a Master s in Business Administration (MBA-Marketing) from an institute of repute.
• Minimum 6 to 9 years of DB & BI experience, preferably in MySQL, MSBI, Tableau and Power BI. Experience of working as ETL & BI developer in a large multi-cultural environment. Experience in Microsoft SQL Server in implementing SSIS, SSRS and SSAS using Microsoft Business Intelligence development studio (MSBI), and SQL Server data tools (SSDT) and Power BI.
• Have a creative bent of mind to develop simple yet effective queries and dashboard layouts that help derive meaningful insights.
• Expertise in writing T-SQL Queries, Dynamic-queries, sub-queries and complex joins for generating Complex Stored Procedures, User-defined Functions, Views and Cursors.
• Ability to extract, transform and load data using various transformations like Lookup, Conditional split, Derived Column, Data Conversion, Sort, Merge, and Union. Ability to independently extract & model data from various data sources like SAP.
• Knowledge on SSAS Tabular and Multi-Dimensional Cubes, and basics of python programming. Experience in writing complex DAX functions in Power BI. Proven expertise in handling live connections of data with SAP BW and other ERP systems. Ability to integrate and automate data flows using ETL tools like Alteryx.
• Attention to detail to drill down the data to find underlying issues/trends and an interest to reconcile data with various sources. Ability to write sound logics/commands to optimize the load on the BI tool to enhance the performance. Basic to Intermediate programming skills in Visual Studio.
• Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills and prior experience in B2B and channel sales industry is highly desirable.
