Global Is Enterprise Solution Architect Lead Operations Domain Job in Abb

This is a Global IS Enterprise Solution Architect Lead Operations role, reporting to the Global IS Department Manager-Enterprise Architecture & Innovation in Business Area Electrification located in Bangalore/ Global. You will be responsible for working across IS Business domains to define and evolve the overarching ABB EL Target Enterprise Architecture and supporting a 3 - 5 year IT roadmap and managing the ABB EL IS Innovation business IS domain to ensure an adaptable and modern IT landscape for the future.

Your responsibilities

• Leading the adoption and creating the solution architecture and the management of reference architectures.
• Assessing the current IT environment and developing a future state IT architecture.
• Identifying the enterprise business drivers and requirements that advance future state architecture capabilities, providing the transparency and visibility of progress of roadmaps based on the objectives.
• Evaluating goals and drivers for future proof architecture of business domains.
• Reviewing and approving the architecture for the environment and configuration that will be used for Proof of Concepts (PoC s) and pilots and documents configurations, knowledge articles and design blueprints for business IS domain services in relevant SAP and other applications
• Co-creating solutions architecture across functions, in strong collaboration with Enterprise Architecture (EA), Capabilities, Domains and CX functions.
• Collaborating with enterprise and business architects, IS capabilities, business IS domains, 3rd party suppliers and other domains IS Managers to ensure a solid service design with strict adherence to business requirements to maximize business productivity and to enable the organization to achieve its business goals.
• Promotes innovative solutions and facilitating the cross-ABB & cross EL design of minimum viable architectures. Ensuring that all stakeholders adhere to the strategic management approach and timetables, creating reports and contributing to the development of policies, standards and guidelines.
• Developing relationships with other enterprise leaders, business IS domains to understand current and emerging business needs and manages the overarching ABB IS innovation portfolio.
• Ensuring work compliance with all applicable ABB regulations and ABB Group guidelines.
• Ensuring all internal controls are diligently followed.

Your background

• Bachelor s degree in computer science or a related discipline and any master s degree, ITIL 4 foundation certification, additional training or certification in organization change management and EA highly desirable.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in IS with focus in service design, Solution architecture, and related marketing & Sales business domain.
• Knowledge and related experience of SAP and other applications in Operations domain is a must.
• 10+ years of IS experience in strategic and/or operations planning and/or business analysis
• Proven ability implementing enterprise design with agile project management methodologies for new and upgrades.
• Proven strategic thought leadership and demonstrated experience driving innovation and change as well as managing innovation portfolios.
• Extensive knowledge in designing new architecture for business domains with solid experience in transformation.
• Experience participating in SCRUM Teams with track record of new service design, Proof of Concept (PoC).
• Experience in developing strategic technology plans and roadmaps, including business capability planning.
• Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering.
