As the Hub Business Line Digital Lead, you will be responsible for growing the Digital business in the South Asia (incl. India), Middle East and Africa (SAMA) HBL within the Process Industries BL and will be reporting to the HBL Manager, with functional reporting to the BL Digital Lead. In addition to the Hub role, you will hold the additional role of Digital lead for your local market. You would preferably be based in Bangalore, India or alternatively, at a convenient location in the hub.
The solution portfolio of the Process Industry BL covers digitalization, automation, instrumentation, drives and electrification solutions for the Paper, Metals, Cement, Mining and Mineral Processing Process Industry sectors and for the Hybrid industries like Food & Beverage and Data Centers. We provide specialized process control solutions, engineered variable speed drive solutions and engineered electrification solutions. We engage with our customer through the entire life cycle of their assets starting from early solution conceptualization through sales to execution followed by all kinds of basic and advanced life cycle services.
Digital business growth is one of the main priorities for Process Industries. In the areas of digitalization, we specialize across the complete portfolio like KPI dashboarding, Cyber security services, advanced process control, asset management, tracking, fleet management, knowledge management, data analytics, optimization, scheduling, etc.
Your responsibilities
- You will oversee the Strategy, Marketing & Sales, Business development, Market intelligence and Account Management relating to our Digital business. You will be accountable for the following KPIs: orders, profitability, portfolio mix and geographic mix. You will also be accountable to deliver on the Digital strategy for internal processes of the HBL.
- You will work with a virtual sales team consisting of industry sales leaders. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to structure and deliver the execution strategy for the Digital business for the HBL. You will ensure that the sales and operations teams are structured to best fit our business model and that they have the right capability, capacity and footprint and that they are future ready in line with our growth and innovation strategies. You will lead, coach and guide these teams to achieve our business objectives.
- You shall develop customer engagement in all levels and functions of customers organizations, lead capture team to win complex large deals and be able to drive Enterprise digital transformation customer cases.

Your background
- Required BE/B.Tech (Open for relevant background candidates).
- Required minimum 15-20 years of experience in leading teams.
- You are required to have solid competence in at least two of the three: Industrial operation technologies, Industry 4.0 or business IT.
- You possess strong interpersonal and sales skills.
- You have the leadership capabilities to generate business growth and the required internal digital transformation.
- Candidate should be open for Country Residents or Expats: India and Expats.
