Responsibilities:

 Lead Automation Strategy: Develop and execute the automation strategy for our mobile applications, aligning with the overall quality goals and roadmap.

 Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of automation engineers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

 Automation Framework Design: Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable automation frameworks for mobile testing, ensuring efficiency and reusability.

 Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test plans, test cases, and test data for mobile applications.

 Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and maintain high-quality codebase.

 Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement CI/CD pipelines for mobile automation testing, integrating with build systems and deployment processes.

 Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and troubleshoot test failures, performance bottlenecks, and other technical issues, providing timely resolutions.

 Stay Updated with Mobile Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends, tools, and technologies in mobile development and automation, recommending improvements and optimizations.

 Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication, alignment of goals, and timely delivery.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

 Experience:

 Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in mobile automation testing, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.

 Proficient in automation testing frameworks such as Appium, XCTest, Espresso, etc.

 Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, or similar.

 Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

 Deep understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android), their architectures, and testing methodologies.

 Proven track record of leading successful automation initiatives and delivering high-quality mobile applications.

Leadership Skills:

 Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.

 Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence decision-making.

 Proactive problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset towards automation challenges.
