BI FinOps Developer - Hosted Platform Services 3M is seeking an AWS QuickSight Developer for Cloud FinOps within the Hosted Platform Services (HPS) team. Hosted Platform Services is a DevOps team that innovates Financial Optimization and automates multiple 3M/MModal hosted solutions including log aggregation, monitoring, deployment, clinical documentation platforms and ADFS SSO. The successful candidate will be excited about technology, financial planning, and cost optimization. This role will be based out of our Bengaluru India Office. Main Responsibilities: Develop Cloud Financial Management ETL Workflows, Visualizations and End User Experiences within QuickSight, BI Tools (Power BI, Tableau), and Reporting centered around AWS Cost Intelligence Dashboard. Define Cloud Finance Management Governance and Operations Processes aligned to 3M Strategy and Vision within a multi-cloud environment. Take on tasks and manage projects to completion. Manage and Implement CI/CD Pipelines, Cloud Formation Scripts and Automation in AWS. Develop and Enhance Front End Web Interfaces while working within a Dev-Ops Team. Deploy and Maintain Production Environments with Enterprise 3M Technology Products in Multiple AWS Accounts and Regions. Run and Attend Project Meetings to Achieve goals in a collaborative team. Available for emergency after hour escalations. To set you up for success in this role from Day 1, 3M requires (at minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science (or related field) or a minimum of four (4) years of experience in development in lieu of the bachelor s degree education requirement. Two (2) years of mandatory Business Intelligence (BI) experience. Two (2) years of experience managing team projects or serving as a key stakeholder in multiple projects. Two (2) years of experience developing QuickSight Dashboards, ETL Workflows, Visualizations, Reports or similar. Two (2) years of experience with SQL Database Administration, Query Writing or Stored Procedure Development. Two (2) years of experience working with Amazon Web Services while utilizing services AWS Cost Intelligence Dashboard, QuickSight, Athena, Glue, RedShift, Kafka, S3, CloudWatch, RDS, Lambda or Snowflake. One (1) year of experience in troubleshooting APIs errors, web connectivity, database connections, stored procedures, and/or software code. Two (2) years of programming experience in one or more of the following technologies: Python, Ansible, C#, C++, ASP, PHP, Visual Basic, VB Script, JavaScript, Node.js, XML, XSL, YAML, JSON. Two (2) years of experience with the Windows Server and/or Linux Server Operating Systems. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: One or more of the following certifications AWS Associate, Professional, cloud Practitioner Level Certification or FinOps Certification. Able to organize meetings and create supporting documentation including PowerPoint slides. Experience creating and managing AWS Cloud Formation Templates. Able to deploy CI/CD pipelines while utilizing GIT repositories. Three (3) years of experience using some popular Business Intelligence (BI) tool with at least one year of experience in using AWS QuickSight. This position requires deep knowledge of QuickSight. One (1) year of experience with popular cloud-based data warehouse platforms, viz. Redshift, Snowflake. Three (3) years of experience in verbal and written communication. Experienced in maintaining web-based applications and associated peripheral systems. One (1) year of experience in utilizing CloudWatch logs, Splunk or ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana). Ability to direct and influence others.
