Technical Architect - Conversational Ai / Speech Platform Job in [24]7.ai

Brief about the Role:

The Technical Architect for Speech Platform will be a seasoned architect who will collaborate, influence, and implement with a diverse team building and improving on the speech AI technology throughout 24/7.ai. This speech AI technology is deployed across many existing Fortune 500 clients, and is blending best of breed AI capabilities to create the premier cloud speech platform running advanced natural language processing and conversational speech bots incorporating end user predictions using diverse cross channel data, analyzing the conversation flows, and integrating with human agents.

The speech platform and product work together with our digital AI chatbot platform and our core platform capabilities to deliver omnichannel conversational AI to our clients. This candidate will work closely with cross geo and cross discipline teams including engineering, data science, devops, design, and others as part of an agile work process. Additionally, this role will play a key role working with other architect team members and contributing to the wider 247.ai senior technical council.

Successful candidates will have a computer science or related degree and expert level knowledge in backend server-side technology at very high availability and scale, REST-API and service-oriented computing, and be proficient at development in a number of languages such as C++, nodejs, Python, and Java.

The ideal candidate will have comfort and experience with conversational design, speech, and conversational AI. Experiencing delivering software-as-a-service products to enterprise clients is also a plus. The candidate will need a high level of technical creativity, problem solving ability, software process and lifecycle expertise, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate with diverse teams. The ideal candidate will enjoy learning new things, sharing this knowledge with the team, and learning from the team all while being passionate about building truly great products.

Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities of the role include the architectural design and implementation of speech platform, transformation of speech platform from 247 data centers to public cloud providers, integration of both 247.ai developed technology and services with best of breed 3rd party APIs and services.
• Design, develop, implement, transform and augment the speech platform
• Provide technical documentation, guidance and support on the product
• Lead, influence, and work to evangelize speech product across organizational boundaries
• Work with the engineering management team to establish and reinforce disciplined software development processes and best-practices
• Review and collaborate on designs and products across all domains of 247.ai

Requirements:

• BS / MS, preferably in CS / IT from a reputed institution, with strong foundations in Computer Science
• 15+ years of commercial software development experience
• Should have been a Technical Architect for a period of 2- 4 years in a Large scale distributed System on Cloud.
• Strong domain knowledge of AI led conversation platform - Voice / Speech platform.

Preferences:

• Experience building large-scale, high availability production web application infrastructure
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (and/or related work experience)
• Familiarity with machine learning and AI frame works
