We are looking for a Full Stack PHP /Javascript Lead developer / Architect.

Job description:

We need a Lead developer / architect to help develop a new CRM system and connected website, lead and build up a team, as well as help management turn software development into an agile CI environment.

Situation:

We are a recruitment firm, recruiting highly skilled and educated IT consultants, developers etc for the Dutch market.

To do so, we use our self-build ERP (finance) / CRM programme, which is terribly outdated (php cake based) and has only part of the functionality we want in it. We have 1 developer who is not up to the task of rewriting and rebuilding the software.

We want to start over and build a new CRM programme from scratch, our new developer / architect has to be up to that task. Next to this we need some new functionalities in our old programme, which can be a good case study in exploring what the new CRM system should look like eventually (but much better).

Next to this, or actually connected to this, we have a very old but well thought out website. We started working on a new website with a UX/UI designer, we have the design, however it needs to be built, and elaborated upon.

After “completion” (when is it ever really finished), we have ideas for many more platforms to be built, which means that you will eventually help grow our/your team of developers and lead them, however, first things first.

Must haves soft skills:

Very important to us is mentality! We need someone who is not timid, can say no (not just yes sir ..), develops himself (or herself) and keeps himself updated with the latest technologies out of interest! And sees possibilities to incorporate these technologies when relevant in his (or her) new designs and systems. Must be able to speak flued English as well as be able to communicate well and clearly.

Must be pro-active in thinking up and suggesting improvements as well as pitching new ideas.
