JOB DETAILS:

Position: Software Test Engineer

Reporting To: QA Lead

Location: Thane-Mumbai

Desire Profile:

  • Must possess a Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science with major in Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Must have minimum of 2years of experience in programming/application development or implementation of web based business applications.
  • Preferred having experience in testing ERP systems.
  • Must have demonstrable knowledge of Selenium.
  • Certified tester in Selenium is preferred

Job Responsibilities

  • Hands on writing test cases and executing manually.
  • Hands on knowledge of automating software testing using Selenium or SAHI software
  • Create and execute automated test cases.
  • Prepare and report test results and statistics.
  • Recommend and implement testing tools and testing methods.
  • Participate in triage meetings.
  • Recommend design changes for improvement of the products.
  • Do source code development and maintenance of the developed scripts using the tools used by the organization.

    • Key Competencies:

  • Must have worked with any business application, preferred with experience in ERP.
  • The job requires working independently, or in cross functional team.
  • Must be able to write automated test scripts for web based applications developed using .NET and Java.
  • Must be able to do white box testing
  • Must have analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Must have demonstrable experience in SDLC methodology such as waterfall, SCRUM, or agile methodologies.
  • Must have demonstrable experience is programming usingJava and SQL.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Must be able to work abroad for extended periods.
