Job Summary Senior Analyst
  • Independently lead and execute client projects in the analytics, data science and ML space
  • Prepare forward-looking frameworks for analysis and models for recurring projects/ processes that can be re-used and automated
  • Collaborate with other teams (like IT, database, support, etc) for project-related requirements like procuring VMs, installing software, scraping online, automation, etc
  • Lead client communication independently throughout project lifecycle
  • Over time, play the role of an account manager on specific client accounts i.e. engage with relevant client stakeholders to understand their priorities/challenges, be a thought partner and suggest solutions, build rapport, keep track of key organizational changes, keep track of market changes that may impact client business, keep relevant stakeholders at NS updated, etc.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative bent of mind
  • Hands-on experience/ proficiency in tools like SQL, R, Python and Excel; knowledge of other DBMS tools, ETL processes and VBA (macros) will be an added plus
  • Experience/ Knowledge of using modelling techniques like regression (linear and logistic), Random Forest, XGB, SVM, K-means clustering, neural-networks, and other time-series models
  • Knowledge of APIs, cloud deployment, CI/CD, etc. desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to engage with global clients
  • Experience in text analytics (tokenization, topic modelling, feature extraction, sentiment analysis, etc) would be an added plus
  • Experience in marketing analytics projects like MMM/ MTA and in digital/ app analytics, Google analytics will be an added plus
  • Experience in BI and data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlikview) will be a valuable plus
