Job Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and stay current on industry trends and competitive landscape
  • Organize, maintain, and follow the editorial calendar
  • Write well-researched, unique, and intelligible content for online publication to showcase the products and services
  • Work closely with the technical team for an in-depth understanding of the product
  • Make high-quality product documentation that meets standards, is appropriate, and easy to use
  • Analyze and manage existing content and keep it up to date
  • Optimize website content following the best SEO practices
  • Create and maintain the information architecture
  • Create compelling content for the email and social media marketing to engage and grow the follower base
  • Share media brief with the designer and gather the supporting media for the content
  • Write appropriate scripts for video content

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience as a technical content writer or similar role
  • A minimum of Bachelor s degree in Journalism or a relevant technical field
  • Background in Engineering or Computer Science is a big plus
  • Experience in internet-based products and familiarity with web development
  • Experience in working with content management systems preferred
  • Able to translate highly technical information into simple, concise content for the audience
  • Creative skills and usage of media that increase users understanding
  • Excellent written skills in English
  • Professional Writing or Creative Writing skills is a plus
  • Proficiency with Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Google Sheets and Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
