About the team
The Controllership at Flipkart is responsible to implement strong controls ensuring high quality financial reporting and
analysis.
Controllership team plays an important role as finance business partner supporting their strategic decision making with inputs
on compliance and reporting. Team is embarking on digital transformation journey to enhance efficiency and further enhance
controls. Some of the challenging problems we are trying to solve:
Drive more leakage improvements
Digitization and automations
Regular financial reviews to improve quality, improve accuracy of forecast.
Drive insights with the business to improve timeliness of reporting

About the role
The individual will be responsible for accurate data collection, processing, modeling and analysis by working closely with
Business Users.
Responsible for automation of reports and dashboards. Deliverables (Maximum 5-6 key responsibilities)
Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide
strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance
metrics support that support key business decisions.
Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and
performance metrics.
Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of analyst and data
employees and effective collaboration with stakeholders.

What youll do:
Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping and collecting data from multiple data systems
on premises and cloud-based data sources.Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables
and subqueries.
Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statisticaltechniques: hypothesis development, designing
tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business unit.
Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions.
Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skill.

What youll need:
4+ years of experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating and drawing insights from data
Strong programming skills with querying languages: SQL
Experience with Qlik View, Power BI, Tableau, Python , R and any other analytics tools.
