ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, rectifying bugs and enhancing application performance Work on Java 8 (or later) and Kotlin 1 (or later) Work on Android API 24 (Android 7.0 Nougat) or later Work on Android Studio 3.0 or later & Gradle 4.1+ Manage Android APKs and key store to build variants Work on Bitmap (PNG, JPG) image densities, color depths, and edits Work on data structures Work on UI design and XML Work on API integrations and payment gateways Work on mobile product development Work on DevOps for the same Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support) Discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency Strong knowledge in RESTful web services Proven knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE Minimum 3 years of Experience as Android Developer. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. You have prior experience as an Android Developer using Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Android NDK You have experience in publishing an application on the Google Play store Proven work experience in design patterns mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM/MVC/MVP. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to effectively integrate Android applications Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git Familiarity with various testing tools You are a problem solver with good analytical skills A portfolio of iOS/Android apps in the Play Store/app store is a plus Hands on experience with Android studio & gradle build system GIT & Gerrit
